Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is dedicated to receiving and managing critical or unstable cases with high precision. The ICU is divided into sections for internal medicine care, cardiac care, and surgical care. The unit operates 24/7 under the supervision of elite professors and consultants who monitor patient progress and assess the effectiveness of treatments. The unit includes a large number of beds equipped with the latest critical care devices.

The ICU at Welcare includes:

  • 25 ICU beds (surgical, cardiac, and critical cases), with a significant portion in separate rooms.
  • The ICU is supervised by a distinguished team of intensive care professors, using the most precise modern treatment methods.
  • Patient care in the ICU is provided with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1.

Features of the ICU at Welcare:

  • ICU rooms are designed for continuous monitoring of all patients, either through direct observation or via cameras.
  • Rooms consist of single or multiple beds, separated by glass or wooden partitions, and feature transparent glass windows for easy observation.
  • Rooms are spacious enough to accommodate equipment such as ventilators or dialysis machines, with a minimum distance of two meters between beds.
  • Physiological support devices are located near the ICU beds, along with available gas and electricity sources.
